Seasons

April 10, 2016 by Patti King

Pecan, wise to wait
foliage peeks out at last
time for one more freeze

Sun kisses our skin
with toxic radiation
god's perfect design

Rosy are my cheeks
breathing the brisk autumn air
Hi, influenza!

Bundled up children
warming the day through frolic
pelt me with snowballs
